I like self serve checkout if I have just an item or two. It's way faster.

Personally, I feel that if a job can be done better without a human and it benefits the customer, it's should be fine, job or not. The idea that we should keep someone employed at something that isn't useful or economically sound doesn't really help anyone in the end.

Nipix: then that is definitely the wings but check in the "back" section of your inventory to make sure you don't have them already because the spiel the fortune teller gives you makes it sound like she's giving you something else!

I like self serve better than judgy cashiers though.
Some cashiers are fine, but some like to comment on your purchases.
Its no ones business if im buying tampons and 10 lbs of cookie dough. You dont know me! Haha

uuurgh no i almost never talk about their purchases
the only time i can remember doing so recently was she was buying cheesecake ingredients and we spent the whole time discussing the biscuit base xD

not really! like i wouldnt even notice if theyre like oh lets go buy lube + like cucumbers or whatever id put it through without connecting the two
except the creepy regular who buys a lot of bags and disposable gloves

I was at the grocery store today and a lady had about 10 loaves of french bread in her cart = I'm almost made a comment about a lot of mouths to feed but I restrained myself - but I did get a smile from her when I looked at the bread looked at her and smiled.

I've worked at a grocery store before, but never seen anyone get that much bread. Crazy.
