Heck yes. Everything is just so dang good-- the chilli, the soup, and the meat! I usually take charsiew but chicken is okay..... there's also that weird jelly roast pork. Forget what its called.
Have you ever eaten duck before?

Yeah, that's why I figured you had laksa. And tried hainanese chicken rice.

There's this restaurant called Lion City that my parents have visited for over a decade. It sells cuisine from Singapore

Lol, whenever we eat in Singapore, my dad and sister will go nuts like-- "I can't believe they claim nasi lemak/laksa/kuih originated from singapore?? Like wtf are you guys blind"

I kinda get what they feel.. its like when you see someone using unsourced art in their videos or whatever.

Weeell, it's eaten in Singapore, and I think that was what was meant? I always consider Singaporean dishes to be Indian, chinese, malaysian, indonesian dishes. *shrugs* I don't actually think of it as originating from Singapore, but more like cuisine that's a mix of stuff eaten in Singapore I guess.

duck is too fatty tasting for me...I've never tried Laksa the soup but I have had lafsa the bread which is delicious!

lol, spelling typo - sorry - should be lafse - it's like a norwegian tortilla and is so good with turkey wrapped in it or just fresh off the grill.
