I agree with Lemon here but doing all the paperwork all over again is a pain in the butt. I went through those process and not a fan of it. They do take a lot of time and so slow.

If you know which health or dental plan, you might be able to call them directly and give them your name etc & get your benefit information. Good luck! Hope they don't put you on hold for too long!

OOF! Ohh, that's messy. So, messy. That happened to me and led me to go in circles and that's where the paperwork comes in. :scream:

I normally have my Mom call for me since I can't stand phone calling. Even though, I can use other methods to call but, it's a pain.

Sometimes they have people listed under employee number of Social security number (Social insurance in Canada) instead of employee name.

Hope it gets resolved soon!

I find that customer service people are generally very understanding and will take as long as it takes to answer any questions I have. If you don't understand, it's OK to keep asking questions.

Well he asked for different things but not that, and he said he looked under every way of finding my file, so in this case I don't think they use my social insurance number

Yep, they were very nice about it!

If you have received a paycheck then I would think you are listed somewhere!

Do they deduct insurance premiums from your paycheck ? That is one way to know you are registered somewhere.

You could take pay stubs to HR if they do, I suppose. Actually, what name is on the pay stub?

Mine has my name & my employee number.
