hmmm here's a thought ...are the employees allowed to accept gifts from customers? Say if I wanted to give a Starbuck's card or something to recognize them? If not would a thank you card be enough?

Idk, I've been given tips (and the customers would be adamant and won't take no for an answer) before. But that's pretty much it. I've never had customers try to give me anything else.

Well...

Actually.....

One of those people who give people those little bibles did try to give me one and i kinda didn't know what to do because I was never told what to say and I didn't want it but didn't want to be rude and I don't know how to say no.

I think I ended up just throwing it away. I'm not keeping it. I have my own already.

I really don't know the policy for that because it's never something that occurs often.

You could probably always give it to good will if you don't want it. I think the little ones are only the new testaments aren't they? Something small enough to pack around in the car or on a trip. Next time just tell them you have one already!

So, i gate customers who go through drive through and have kids screaming on the top of tgeir lungs and still treat them to mcdonalds.

I wouldnt give the screaming kid mcdonalds, i would feed them something at home filles with healthy food and they have to eat it, like it or not.

But thats me lol

They might be feeding them McDonald's to give them something to eat in a hurry so that it will shut them up. Kids get sooooo cranky ( actually most people) when they are hungry!

It was just ice cream they ordered. I wouldnt treat my kids to ice cream if they were acting up like that.

oh - that I agree with! They should have gotten it for themselves and told the kids next time you want some you better behave yourself. But the kids could have been tired too...and maybe all they needed was to be put to bed.

Somehow packing them up with sugar seems counterproductive...

At least this parent tried to shut them up.

Most parents dont bother trying to shut them up and let their child(ren) scream their lungs out.

speaking of ice cream...I would love some McDonald's soft serve right at this moment...think I should go eat some healthier alternative . I am so proud of myslef , I had no chocolates or candy today! (Which is difficult to do when we have a big jar of candy at work - kitkats, twix, peanut butter cups....they get pretty hard to resist around 3:00)

That moment you realize you put the wrong age on an application......

Lol, I forgot how old I was. I thought I was 21 and I'm 22 xD

I put 21 on my gym membership application and I just realized...... "Wait, I'm 22, not 21." lolol Dummy.

They probably won't even notice! How's the gym going? Do you have a favorite routine or time to go?

It'd be better if my foot didn't hurt so bad the day after.

I don't think it's the gym that's causing it, but it makes it hard to go consistently.

I do like to use the elliptical. I'm still trying to find a good routine.

I like going in the evening or night. That way, I get home and shower and be tired enough to go to bed. I have a hard time going to sleep, and this should help me.

Idk, maybe.

I just hope to all that is good that it's not me becoming diabetic because becoming diabetic can cause foot pain. I'm already too overweight, it's not out of the ordinary for someone my weight to become diabetic and I want to avoid that.

I hope it's just my shoes or that I just pulled something.
