hmmm here's a thought ...are the employees allowed to accept gifts from customers? Say if I wanted to give a Starbuck's card or something to recognize them? If not would a thank you card be enough?
Idk, I've been given tips (and the customers would be adamant and won't take no for an answer) before. But that's pretty much it. I've never had customers try to give me anything else.
Well...
Actually.....
One of those people who give people those little bibles did try to give me one and i kinda didn't know what to do because I was never told what to say and I didn't want it but didn't want to be rude and I don't know how to say no.
I think I ended up just throwing it away. I'm not keeping it. I have my own already.
I really don't know the policy for that because it's never something that occurs often.
You could probably always give it to good will if you don't want it. I think the little ones are only the new testaments aren't they? Something small enough to pack around in the car or on a trip. Next time just tell them you have one already!
They might be feeding them McDonald's to give them something to eat in a hurry so that it will shut them up. Kids get sooooo cranky ( actually most people) when they are hungry!
oh - that I agree with! They should have gotten it for themselves and told the kids next time you want some you better behave yourself. But the kids could have been tired too...and maybe all they needed was to be put to bed.

speaking of ice cream...I would love some McDonald's soft serve right at this moment...think I should go eat some healthier alternative . I am so proud of myslef , I had no chocolates or candy today! (Which is difficult to do when we have a big jar of candy at work - kitkats, twix, peanut butter cups....they get pretty hard to resist around 3:00)
It'd be better if my foot didn't hurt so bad the day after.
I don't think it's the gym that's causing it, but it makes it hard to go consistently.
I do like to use the elliptical. I'm still trying to find a good routine.
I like going in the evening or night. That way, I get home and shower and be tired enough to go to bed. I have a hard time going to sleep, and this should help me.
I just hope to all that is good that it's not me becoming diabetic because becoming diabetic can cause foot pain. I'm already too overweight, it's not out of the ordinary for someone my weight to become diabetic and I want to avoid that.
I hope it's just my shoes or that I just pulled something.
