If you are talking to me, please ping or quote me. I get distracted and lose track of what I'm doing easily.

well....I guess you could set an alarm to remind yourself and then use your will power to abide by it  ...or...you could set the computer to go off at a certain time...though it's like when I find a good book to read, I just can't put it down until I'm done or when I find a series to watch I haven't seen before I do like a marathon on it until I'm finished that season. Or when Windlyn has an event I'm glued to the screen. -Maybe I need to exercise so I get myself tired out and just can't keep my eyes open? : Nah, I take a nap and I'm ready to go again!

Seriously though, on a regular bases you should be getting a minimum of 6 hours sleep a night, not enough and it will start getting you emotionally effected by things if it is long term. Our bodies seem to require 7-8 hours for it to do it's repair thing. I wonder how long animals need? They seem to sleep in spurts, I wonder what the difference is? ANd why do old people behave like animals and sleep in spurts? My question of the day, thanks Ryvvi.

I wish I knew why I sleep the way I do. I slept for almost 8 hours last night, got up for about 2 minutes and went back to sleep almost instantly for another 2. And now I feel like crap.

But if I sleep for 5 hours at a time, I feel like I can go do a marathon, find world peace, get all the event items in a single day and type until my computer dies. xD What the hell!?

Ha, ha - I started looking up info about sleep...check out my ZZZZZ thread on here and the link I found talks about getting off our cycle makes us sluggish as well as if you are interrupted in the 90 min cycle or if you don't wake up when the cycle ends.
I looked at a sleep calculator, which I should put that link on there, where you put what time you want to wake up by and it tells you the times to go to sleep at and what is weird is that it tells you it is in 90 min cycles so say you want to get up at 8 am you could go to sleep at 6:15 am and still feel ok to do stuff. Of course I think it also depends on how long it takes you to fall asleep too and their are many factors involved in that. There was a show on PBS that some guy did about sleep deprivation and he experimented on himself how long he could stay up and how it affected his body. I'll have to google it.

Of course we can always blast off sparkles and that might wake us up - at least in the sparkle kingdom :cheer:
