Hi Jin, I don't really remember why I left. I was supposed to be studying for exam and then I started procrastinating and somehow ended up back here! I'm happy to be back, but I'm still getting used to the place. Tell me all about you! Sincerely, Ka Lai
Dear Ka, Hahahha That's alright. xD I'm sure you'll get the hang of this place again soon. It's not hard to understand. About me? Hmmm, well what would you like to know? Sincerely, JinMay
Dear Jin, I don't really know! It's been a while since I've tried to make conversation. Where are you from?
That's true about getting the hang of it. I'm thinking of opening my own art shop, but I'm not very good art doing art. Though I'm really lazy, so Idk. Sincerely, Ka Lai
Dear Jin, What other language do you speak? I thought maybe it was Korean based on your username.
I'm not sure. I actually work full time, so I dunno if I'll have enough time to get on and draw. Though at the same time, I guess I could do quick sketches. Contemplating... Sincerely, Ka Lai
Dear Ka, Well Spanish is my first language and I learned English in school. I speak both of them fluently.
I understand what you mean. I have an art shop in another site but I don't usually have it open because I'm always busy with other things. lol Sincerely, JinMay
Dear Jin, Ahh! That's awesome! Does your whole family speak Spanish?
Welp, I just casually opened one. The site was really slow last night, so I just drew a bit and went to sleep. I've made it pay what you want, so that if I randomly disappear, people won't mind too much since they won't have paid me yet. Also, i really can't get a grasp on what currencies are worth here. Sincerely, Ka Lai
Dear Ka, Yes we do. Being the Mexican family we are, all we ever speak is Spanish. Though I do speak English with my dad since he can speak it even though he hates it. lol
That's nice! That's what my shop is like too, a pay what you want. Those are the best ones really because there's no pressure. I'd love to see what you drew sometime. Sincerely, JinMay
Dear JinMay, If you live in California then definitely check out working for the Postal Service. They are often looking for people to work in the administration positions so your accounting classes should be a benefit. Go to: http://about.usps.com/careers/welcome.htm . You could start immediately depending on where you are living, and being bilingual should also be a big asset for you! Did you check to see if you ended up with any of the chick items yet? yours, Lemon
Dear Lemon, It would be super cool to work there. I'm looking at it right now actually. Very interesting! I'm missing pretty much all the items. OTL I wasn't really here for this event thanks to work. Thanks, JinMay
Dear JinMay, I will send you the items in a trade then and you will have the items. No need to miss work in real life just to get items. You will probably have to take the Postal exam if you want a permanent job and that is only offered at set times. But you don't have to take the exam if you just want a casual position (but that has no benefits). That Starwish green dress is one of my favorites (I also like the Navy). Oops, I forgot to do my star pond fishing! Oh no! Regards, Lemon
I am so glad you are writing letters too! It's like being Pen Pals!I am also happy you came back to Windlyn. I hope you like the job you work at and are able to save some money! Regards, Lemon
Dearest Lemon, Thanks very much for all you're doing I really do appreciate it. I'm not sure I'd want something too serious. I'd have to go and get a feel for things first before I decide if I want a permanent job there. Your friend, JinMay
Dear JinMay, When trying to decide what you want to do for permanent employment look at the job descriptions to see if it is something you'd like and check out the benefits that the employer offers. Check to see what prerequisites are required too in case you have to get any extra schooling. Soon you will be leaving on your trip! Are you flying there? Hope you are enjoying sunny California weather!
But that's awesome, because you being bilingual is way better than just speaking one language. I learnt Chinese in university, but I'm not very fluent. xD I'm only fluent in English so I envy people who can speak multiple languages.
