Nothing will happen if you drink it! There is definitely no poison in it!

That's fine! To each their own. How about some water to go with a plate of seared penguin meet?

No....that is sacrilegious! Like on the Star Trek Discovery show where in the other dimension they eat their servants.

Hm, this is a study. Suppose it's best to treat this like a library where you wouldn't eat or drink.

<nods head in agreement> yes, treat it like a library maybe, then no issues.

Perfect! The price is 10 familiars to be tossed into the cauldron

Lemon Cheesecake
But!! There's a surplus of penguin right now! Seems like a perfect seasonal dish...

@"Gingerale" @"Watery Star"
This is most ideal! But sometimes one cannot be easily taken away from reading and research, but still needs to attend to bodily duties like feeding and hydrating, so food and drinks are allowed inside! But not on the books.

Kind of like how Barnes and Noble book store has a Starbuck's shop in it ?

I was thinking more of a book cafe, but that works too!

Spent my day rereading some novels and writing down summaries while I read. Summaries without the context or additional details can get strange fast, but this bit was somehow charming:

The monster asks to be taught how to die. She grants its wish by giving it a name and convincing it to cross the black desert beyond the door.
