I don't have class today but I need to order college textbooks which are ridiculously expensive.

With how much college alone costs you'd think that they would throw the textbooks in for free....

I'm on scholarship so I'm paying considerably less than most students. But new textbooks from the school store usually range from $100-$250.

I have rented everything I need from online.

Renting the books is good since you only need them for a few months.

I want to keep my HTML book though because I might want to use it in the future.

Well you can always buy an HTML book later for about $25. Or find one used for cheaper.

I, personally, don't find books helpful for learning to code. It's much easier to learn by finding an example that works and building off of it, and trial and error (learn by doing) engineering. If you are learning the basics, or need a refresher, you should check out sites like codeacademy.com
they have some pretty good tracks -- for free!

Well this book is my friend right now Diana! Lol since all I really have to use at the moment is a phone and I'm sure coding on a phone isn't very wise. Plus I don't know squat so I like books so I can go back whenever I need to. Though I wish there really was a way to test what I've learned so far. -_- Only downfall so far.
