It was indeed
Ty

Last time I worked I was surprised by a coworker who I haven't seen lately (due to opposite schedules) showing up to make up a shift! It was fun and laid back, plus he got me McDonald's, two cookies from Tim Hortons, and gave me a lift home! Wooo

Also last night was my mom's birthday, so that was cool

Happy Birthday to your Mom! Are you going to do a special family dinner?

Nice to get a friend on the same work shift! Very thoughtful of them to treat you to food!

Do you get paid extra if you come in when you are not scheduled?

I don't think so, unless it's overtime
But considering I only work two days a week, it's not overtime

Tho next week I only work ONE day, which I'm not thrilled about, but what can ya do

I think I did well enough tho, I only did 3 aisles but I was very tired since I had woken up very early that day

butterfly conservatory sounds cool ... is it in a covered dome?

What kind of flowers did they have? What types of butterflies?

Ye!

I'm not sure, tbh, they had signs for the plants but I forgor them, and no signs for butterflies

But there were some brownish gray ones, some blue, some yellow, monarch I think, ones that looked close to monarch but weren't, some black, some white, all really pretty!

One even went on my mom and then sister, and one blue fella danced around my feet for a bit!

We had to watch our step because sometimes they land on the paths!

It was a blast

oh cool having blue ones fly around you. I don't know if I have ever actually seen a blue butterfly in the wild, although I have seen pictures.
Sounds like a lot of butterflies if you had to be careful not to step on them!!

Did they sell butterfly souvenirs in the gift shop?

Well there wasn't many on the path, but I wanted to be sure
There was actually a moment when I stepped on something soft and was worried, but it turned out to be a leaf!

Yes they did! I got this butterfly puzzle thing where you build it or something, though it looks more complicated than I realized so I haven't started on it yet!

I like puzzles but they take up space... my friend showed me a cool tray she does them on, she slides it under her couch when she is not working on them & it has a backing on the surface that keeps the pieces from sliding off when she moves it.

It's not a jigsaw puzzle, it's a 3D thing! I had thought it was cubes, but it turned out to be squares that I'm guessing get put together to be cube shaped

Yeah, it's just more parts than anticipated so it'll be a bigger task to put together than I'd hoped. Still fun looking, tho

Last night was good, my coworker gave me McDonald's, a ride home, and a couple cookies from McDonald's on the way home, plus another coworker gave me these crescent bun thingies! And I didn't do too shabby of a job facing!
