I use postimage.org for image hosting. I have the option of keeping the images the true size or resizing if I want. You can also set if you want an image to expire or not. I like that I can share a thumbnail image or hot link when posting in forums, which is what I mostly use it for.

I'm just going to use my google drive. It let me upload my whole windlyn avi folder. So that made it super easy. And the pic links work so I'm satisfied with this.

Working on adding all 40+ pics back to the thread.

That is incredibly inexpensive for a gallons worth. They should just sell it already sealed and then they have no other option but to take it as is.

The large McDonalds cup is 32 oz
A gallon is 128 oz

Large tea at McDonalds is $1
Gallon tea is $3.17

You can fill 4 large cups with tea out of that gallon which is about $0.80 per cup.

It's not that expensive. It's cheaper than buying 4 large cups of tea.

Since I don't want to delete my hard work with math, I'll say I MISREAD INEXPENSIVE AS EXPENSIVE! Stupid me.

Does it let you upload the whole folder at once?

Yeah, I didn't know what you were using. Just didn't want you to go down into another rabbit hole and have to do it all again.

If Google drive went away completely, i might lose it. I have so much crap I don't want to lose there.

I keep my most important documents on a thumb drive(USB flash drive). I don't really trust any website or apps to be around for so many years but the thumb drive will still be here.

I'm with you, Watery. I don't trust cloud anything or proprietary formats/apps. Been burned too many times. :(

Everything on my drive is most likely saved on my computer. I lose flash drives like nobody's business.
But as long as they don't touch the site, im good.

I have a couple of external usb drives that I backup stuff to in addition to thumb drives. I have two that are dedicated for temporary backups (mostly for convenience) and just throw them in a drawer (they never leave the house). The external drives are for full long term backups. The rule of thumb is "1 is none." Three backups are ideal with one off site (like cloud would count for that).
