1. Plug in your drive.
2. Right click on Computer and select Manage
3. Click Disk Management
4. Look through the list of drives in the bottom half of the window for the drive. It will say NTFS, FAT32, EXFAT, HFS+, or something else.
Windows can natively read anything except HFS+. To do that, get HFSExplorer for Windows (free)
