I was on vacation a training journey for a week but now I'm back!!

My cat died from old age, so I was managing... okay I guess. We're currently planning to get another kitten so that our other cat doesn't feel so lonely.

And my job is cool. My trial period should be over in a month or so though, I'm starting to get slightly nervous!;;

That it's never boring and that we have a flat hierarchy.

nice! Never boring is a wonderful start! What do you get for benefits, does work cover medical over there or is that covered by the government or not at all?

Well, health and pension insurance is subtracted from my pay, so I guess that means it's covered.

oh... I hope not too much is subtracted! Is that before taxes or how do taxes work over there? Do you have your income taxed?

Yeah it is, but I'm not sure how exactly the process is...

I hate when I think I will be getting a certain amount of money based on my hourly wage nd hours worked...and then the pay check comes and the rude awakening that I had to work so many hours just for taxes.

Yeah I fear we have pretty high taxes in Germany, too.

so long as the money coming in is more then the money going out on costs and you can do ok and actually save.
