I've been in earthquakes that "shake" back and forth and ones that "roll". Fortunately none of them did any noticeable damage where we were but the same quake, close to the epic center, caused houses etc to collapse.

To me a hurricane or tornado sounds worse. I've seen photos of the destructive damage they can do and that to me is scary.

Typhoons/Hurricanes and Earthquakes are the scariest natural disaster for me.

I've experienced worst floods, strong typhoons and earthquakes before and it's terrifying.
Felt like it's the end of the world already.

I hate it when these natural disasters struck at night.
The darkness makes it even more scarier and its hard to mobilize in total darkness.

yes, lots of pillows...

you know, I think I was only in an earthquake at night once (and sitting on the toilet at that!Good thing it only lasted seconds). Most of the time the earthquakes have been in the morning.

Howdy!

I was watching Philippine Big Brother a little while ago and it kinda bores me.
So I just turned off the tv instead lol

I am surprised living on the coast line you haven't had any earthquakes. Maybe the continental plates are going the wrong way!

I actually felt an earthquake in Hawaii once, it wasn't very strong though.

I'm on the east coast of Canada and no where near a fault line in the plates hence no earthquakes
