You could boil and paint eggs or do crafts with a young child and they'll be happy. I went to the store yesterday and they had Easter candy on sale, I thought that was helpful for parents.

I got most of ours at dollarama when I went there to get some cheap groceries and other supplies earlier last week. Can't afford to waste eggs by boiling and not eating them so I got her a couple cheap coloring books as a side thing for easter, we watched some older easter movies on tv for a while too.

I love the dollar store here but ours is closed for now. But don't know why since they sell groceries?

We used to peel and either mash the eggs and make them into egg salad or make them into deviled eggs - I have never liked eating boiled eggs myself.

It's all about just having a bonding time anyway.

I'm just happy she was enjoying the movies and finding the eggs and other things we hid around the apartment. I had been worried all week I didn't have enough to put around for her to find, but she loved it.


Speaking of finding eggs, I have yet to find one on here ;-;

I've found that if I scroll up and down on every page I have good luck. The other thing I noticed is scrolling back on the page that shows up after posting (to view my post), I find eggs. I don't know if that's an incentive to post or not, but it's a happy surprise!

I have more success if I post and then let it go to the page...scroll up and down too. Some have been on the edge of the page or top or bottom.

During the event, I always try to go back to the page after posting. Sometimes I forget and tap subscriptions immediately

I managed to get one egg last time I was able to get on, I have a little more free time to be on my laptop this evening so I should be able to post and hunt more. We're still doing our best not to go out much if at all here. So far so good, I went and picked up a couple food things we were low on plus there was some healthy things on for pretty cheap at the grocery store that i've been trying to get my hands on for over a month now.

I've noticed other than some cleaning products the grocery shelves are stocked now. Glad you could find what you needed!

I look for eggs about every 20-30 minutes.

Maro, do you have some of the older 2014-2015 items you are willing to sell or trade for?

I honestly have no idea, I might have a few of them I think... maybe? I've gotten 4 eggs now I think I just got one of the egg coats.
