Well, like, it's a factory job and a lot only use temps.

It's an 8 hour work day for 5 days a week.

Yeah. It's not stressful at all.

Though, I do miss the free meals, at least I can eat whatever I'm craving.

Great! Sounds like a set schedule too! So does this mean you'll need to be looking for another job all the time because this one can end at any time?

galled : Eh, I think it depends on the place. Where I'm at right now, they might not have work for a while but when they have work again, the temp agency I got that work through would call me and tell me that I can return. And some places might "fire" people, and heck it can happen where I work at too. There are temps where I work at now that has been temps there for YEARS!

Lemon Cheesecake : I worked there for a day and got fired because I fell asleep from, what I wasn't aware of, my blood pressure being super high. I can't ever go back there. Idc. I do not want to work 12 hour shifts anyway. My younger sis worked there longer and could probably return there if she needed to, but I doubt that. She lives pretty far from there now anyways.

Ah, OK, so "temp" doesn't mean strictly mean temporary. It's just a way for a company avoid paying medical and retirement. Well, I hope it's steady for you!

You work in a factory? What do you do? ^^

I help package light bulbs either by:
-Dumping light bulbs into a box
-Putting lightbulbs into another box
-Making the boxes the light bulbs will be packaged into

Super easy things.



The factory makes light bulbs, but that is basically what the temps do.

Easy and can get a bit boring.... doing the same thing for 8 hours for 5 days a week.....
