Are you decorating at home? Stuff has been in the stores for weeks and now homes are putting up decorations.

I don't have any stuff in my student dorm... maybe I'll go bring something next time I'm at my parents'. But my mum usually decorates the house.

my boss put up some candy corn lights at work and a banner of black cat silhouettes.

That sounds cool! I wonder if my company will do something. I think Halloween is a holiday in my country this year.

The pumpkin patch and hay bale displays and hay bale mazes are now up around town too. With Day of the Dead around the same time there are lots of ceramic skulls being displayed as well.

Wow, I haven't seen anything halloweenish here yet. But there's already Christmas stuff for sale in the stores. xD

Wow. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving over here and Halloween is a pretty recent thing, too.

It's a little freaky for young kids to have all the scary masks and skeletons hanging on every aisle so that every where they turn they are confronted with something scary. Not my favorite holiday...although I am ok with the pumpkins and fall decorations... there are Christmas merchandise and decorations starting to appear too so it makes it like a "nightmare before Christmas".

I got a catalog advertising Christmas decor. Its too early for xmas decorations when Halloween hasn't already came yet.

Lemon - I haven't shopped with a little kid in a long time. I forgot how unsettling it can be for them. I like Halloween but don't like the scary movie side of it.

I like the "normal" costumes like witches, ghosts, devils and stuff, but I am not a fan of the overly creepy and bloody stuff.
