Good you are getting it checked out as it seems to be repeat pain ... do you have a cough with it at all?

Sometimes I have problems from repetitive movements. Or if sometimes if you are doing exercises incorrectly, say push ups for example, you can pull or twist a muscle. Or even sleeping in a different position or on my pillows differently causes issues.

I have to say rolling my back against tennis balls does help relieve some of my shoulder & back pain.

Hope they find solutions for you soon!

Ye. No cough, thankfully
Ya, I think it was from the exercises, but it could have also been sleeping. Though every other time I've gotten pain from sleeping weird, it never lasted as long or happened repetitively
I need to get some, ye
Ty, me too

Ahhh, ya, that might help

Problem is I'm absent from work a lot, or go home early, and we're worried they'll fire me

Where I work we need a Doctor's note if we need to miss work. If you have an ongoing issue then the Doctor needs to write what you can do or what needs to be limited use.

I am so sorry about your shoulder. Maybe work can give you another option to accommodate your injury so that you don't have to be off completely

For your high cholesterol: You can do cheese just check which cheeses have less saturated fats. Like Parmesan is a better choice.

I find nuts help with my cholesterol, especially almonds & pistachio's. They also help boost other minerals & vitamins your body needs. People don't realize that cholesterol is a problem for young people as well & not just older people.

I eat lean meats, for example only 4-7% fat on hamburgers, cut off chicken skin & don't eat it deep fried.

Butter is a hard one but you don't have to cut it out completely just use it very minimally. Olive oil is a great alternative. Almond butter on toast instead of butter works good as well.

I'm willing to help if I can.

I'm on light duties rn, so at least I can still work! ^o^
My doc said cheese is only twice a week, and not two days in a row
We are thinking of nuts as well!
We usually have our chicken skinless anyway
I can have margarine, but it has to be something something
Ty, your kind words and advice are help enough!

Agreed!
No, but he recommended a heater pad, as well as a pill!

I appreciate yall being so kind and helpful

That's positive news, Npix!

Hang in there!

I like the pistachio's with shells better than the shelled ones, they stay crunchier longer it seems. But you can also find flavored nuts (look for ones with no sugar) that help to make eating them tastier.

Yeeee
I'll do my best!
For now I'mma have unsalted peanuts

I faced the store last night tho, and imagine my surprise when I saw a blurb on a Honey Nut Cheerios box (it used to be my fave cereal growing up) that said "one cup of HNC contains 35% of the nutrients needed to help lower cholesterol"! So I'mma have that, too
I'mma switch between HNC one day, and oatmeal the next!
