I'm frustrated still about what happened at work yesterday afternoon.
Some idiot came to mcdonalds with their kids to eat.
That's all fine and dandy.
They came inside to eat and were in the store for an hour.
Still nothing wrong about that.
...
But...
...
They brought their dog with them and left the poor dog in their vehicle. 90°+ weather, the car turned off and assuming the windows were rolled up, the dog had died of a heat stroke, possibly within 5 minutes of being in that hot car.
Let me remind you, they were in the store for an hour.
If you bring your pets with you somewhere and stop for a bite to eat, go through the drive through.
You'd think that would be common sense, but obviously some people lack that.
Of course the owner of the dog is getting sued for animal abuse. They shouldn't own dogs if they can't be responsible enough and sensible with them to know you can't leave them in a hot car with no way to cool down.
