Preeetty much. Yeah. Sometimes it's looking up that freaks me out. If I have something to use as reference, such as top of a building and looking up and seeing how close it is. Or something like that.

I'd still be afraid of heights with wings.

I think my fear of heights is more about falling...and going splat at the end

I mean, I'm pretty sure that's where the main fear comes from... Like, for me too. The wings wouldn't help though, because if you plummet from great heights, you still die. You fall wrong and break your neck? you still die? Hit your head on a curb hard enough? You definitely die. Fall off a building? Your wings can't save you now. Especially if it's not that high. It's not that easy to get lift to fly. Plus body weight. Even with wings, if you fall wrong they can't do much except speed your descent.

So yeah, wings would be reassuring, but not that reassuring.

maybe if we could just fly like superman or supergirl~ ? I don't know, I'm ok looking down from an airplane or looking through a window on a top floor of a skyscraper building but if I was on the balcony of a top floor looking down then I'm not so secure ( the balcony could break!)

Yeah, I don't mind planes either. I'm used to being on planes to some extent so it doesn't bother me. I think I still get nervous on skyscrapers though.

Heh, maybe? For me I don't think it'd fix much. As even with good balance I'd be worried about the building falling.

True. Like a fear of eating cereal, and then halfway through you find out you've been pouring milk on moths and shovelling it into your mouth?

some fears are because we know of the possible not so nice outcomes that may occur and don't want to take our chances

True. That's what fears are for I guess. Keeping you alive through the power of fight or flight.
