I'm making a choose your adventure story and I finished an entry or part or page or whatever you want to call it, pressed save and exit and then it said that the story didn't exist.

Now I lost 50%-75% of my work. I guess I'll rewrite the whole thing to make it sound better than it was.

I think I'll just write the entry on paper and then put it on my computer. So that way I can go back and continue writing without losing it. I think my session expired or something which is strange.

Monkeygirl, maybe you saved it over an existing file or saved it to a different file location. If you believe you saved it then it is probably saved somewhere. Did you search through your different documents?

Nah, it's not that. To even write it, I have to be in the correct story and choose the part you want to edit or choose to create a brand new page. I think I had it up so long, the session timed out and the computer got confused.

I never know how to organize these things and write them good. I'm used to writing linearly, without giving the readers choices. Lol. This is going to be a challenge.
