Especially not sleeveless
Not when the dress itself has sleeves and armor pieces on it

I'm not making it to be additional protection, I'm making it because it's part of the cosplay
And all the white dresses I do find are unusable because they're decorate, they're sleeveless, the bodice is entirely wrong
I have no other option but to make it
Fortunately I have a pattern I can mod

yeah, I misunderstood...I thought it was for see through protection underneath - looks like it shouldn't be too difficult though to make a frock for the costume - the collar looks like the more difficult part

I have a kimono pattern I can mod
Well, I have two copies of it, one for modding purposes
It also has a dickey so I can attach the fuku to that
Tho I'm gonna need Velcro to attach bow and armor pieces

If dad gets up soon I might convince him to take me to jo-anns so I can get the cloth needed to make it

He's antsy about getting back to work, he should be able to go back Wednesday
Also, I think he wants to see the final result of this cosplay, since he went and found out the closing time for jo-anns
Got a sewing machine, got cloth, got thread
Hopefully I can template the vest tomorrow
Gonna try to finish duct taping the skirt and cut out the cloth tonight
At the very least, the cloth gets cut

duct tape is great - you can make lots of stuff with it...wallets, purses, dresses...
