I think most could foresee the potential problems. Inexcusable for an executive of a company that large. I bet it cost the company plenty. People have been fired for far less.

Usually there's a limit to how many customers get the special deal or it only lasting a short window of time in a day. When things are advertised for free or very cheap people will wait in ridiculously long lines. Too many people fail to plan ahead when waiting in such long lines. I've wanted in line for black Friday and an hour seems long to me.

Have you heard about Tanacon? It was a convention and people were outside getting sunburned with no food or water(even for those that made it inside).

It's concerning what people will put themselves through.

If they choose to do that, then that's their own fault. (Both guests and staff and planners have their own faults)

I'm starting to feel I need to leave mcdonalds for another job.... but I also don't want to leave...

Recently, I've been getting super anxious and then I started feeling like maybe it's my time to find some place new. I dread going into work. The past several work days were shitty....


I don't feel like I can get anywhere in this job...

It doesn't hurt to look around and see what else is out there for work, but also doesn't hurt to ask your management for advice on your career at your place of employment. Sometimes if they know you want to advance then they will let you know what steps to take. I can't recall if you already let them know.
