I love sweets but not when they are over powering. Like I really like cream puffs.

Oh Dipper ~ ! Was that intentional or did you not have anything else around to eat~? (I can't do lollipops because they cut my tongue and the roof of my mouth and then I am in pain for about a week)

I am still aweful about checking back on here.
I did get a new computer and don't have all my tabs set up on my quick menu so that does make it harder.

well, we are just glad you haven't forgotten about us, dragoness - always good to see you pop on!
How's work? Are you still at your Mom's? Did the girls enjoy school? Do they get involved with school play's or sports activities?

-huggles-
Work is good. I have off (looks at time) today technically. Then I work for 6 days, but mostly 4 hours a day, so it won't be too bad.
Yes, we are working on trying to get housing assistance. One of the places they have will not be open until August.
Yes, the girls like school. They will be going into 3rd grade now. Not yet, still hoping to get them into some kind of sports.

Oh, and I am practicing driving myself. Might be able to try for my license soon.

oh yeah! That's a great positive! You will have such a sense of freedom once you do get your license because you won't have to be so dependent on others and I know having your own place will be such a relief for you. I hope you can get one in August, and get all settled before school starts for the girls! Looks like things are finally looking up for you! Very nice.

If I do get my license, I hope to still not drive unless I have to. It is scary.
Thanks!
Not sure yet, but fingers crossed.
I am also gonna check on a better job so I can start actually saving some money and not having to live paycheck to paycheck and counting pennies.

I've been there on counting pennies but it slowly comes around, especially since I've been trying to minimize what goes out from what comes in.

I am thinking good thoughts for you and hoping it will get better soon. I don't like to drive perse but I am glad that I can drive and I try not to drive when the roads are so crazy with traffic or the weather is bad etc.

I don't like driving but I have no other choice.

Especially when I'm on my way home or to work and its raining like it's the end of the world.

Bad weather driving is like an amusement ride gone bad.

There was one downpour that hit us as we were driving home from vacation. I don't know how my husband managed to keep driving through it. I probably would have been moving 10 miles and hour on the interstate, lol.
