oh, I have to watch my cholesterol as well. Nuts (especially almonds) help boost the good cholesterol so the bad goes down. Sadly, had to make ice cream & pizza treats ... although mozzarella & parmesan aren't too bad on the saturated fats & cholesterol. I always have eaten low fat meat as I have a fat absorption issue ( makes me throw up).
Something to be diligent on as it can creep up easily. Don't want to have bypass surgery when we get older!
