I actually noticed when i got to my vehicle. Ofc I went back in and paid for it.

its easy to think it is just a pen in your hand...you must have groaned when you realized you still had it. Were they nice about it when you went to pay or did you just not say what you accidentally did?

I often wonder if the survellience camera's pick up that kind of stuff or not, or if they do and just don't bother with it? No one came running out after you and you didn't set off any alarms.

It is so embarrassing when the clerk forgets to take off the tags and you go through the door and set the alarms off.

I went through a self checkout and I didn't see it so I thought it must've fell somewhere in an aisle. I didn't want to bother looking for it and seemed to confirm I dropped it somewhere. When i left, i got to my van and it ended up under my purse.

I went back inside to a self checkout lane and paid for it.
