Tis storebought frozen, ye.
Tis a small vessel, but not too small. It had an interior, and a seating area exterior at the back, with shade and the wheel and all. It has a bedroom, a washroom, a kitchen, and storage space. It has both a sail and a motor (motor is for when there's not enough wind).
Not only did I get to help with the sails, I got to pilot it for awhile! The owner (a family friend) took us out, and piloted it for a bit, but then let me pilot for quite awhile! Wasn't much wind, but at one point we hit 5.2 maybe 5.3 knots! (I believe knots is what it was). And that was while sailing, with the motor it was faster. I also brought it back in to the dock, and the owner finished the very last bit. I got to wear the captain's hat, too! It was really fun! And they all seemed impressed by how well I did! And I wasn't even nervous! I was at first but I was quickly over it, joining in conversations, making jokes, looking at the shoreline to see the sights, twas truly fun!
Then we had a barbecue of borgors and salad ( though I didn't have the salad, as I don't like salads that much and it had croutons, which I really don't like). Then the he gave us honey from his beehives, and gave each of us (my mom, dad, and I) a small rubber ducky with a captain's hat and sunglasses
Then I got home and pretty much immediately went to bed! Was in bed by 4:30 pm, woke at 1:30 am! Hopefully my sleep schedule doesn't suffer too much!
But ye! That was my adventure!
And now I will give yall a recommendation/piece of advice; if someone is going somewhere to do something you don't normally do, and invites you (or you can tag along with) or you see an opportunity to do something you don't normally do, I think you should go for it! Not every time, but try to keep an open mind and an adventurous spirit! You never know what things you might enjoy even if you do it just once! Sometimes breaking up the usual routine, while scary, can be a good thing!
Anyway, that's just my two cents! It's up to you what you do!
