I guess you haven't started spring break then....do they give you a spring break over there?

Sounds like you've got a lot to do...the nice thing about the conferences is that the Teachers usually have some positive stuff to say and that can be encouraging and a chance for your parents to feel proud.

That's true, but then there's the part where the teacher asks more from you... I hate it when that happens. Makes me stressed out even more. OTL

well, I guess they just want you to " be the best you can be" ( I borrowed that from the army recruiting commercial). But seriously, the general consensus is that your parents /teachers want you to succeed and to be inspired to go beyond the limitations that we set on ourselves.
