My dumb ass decided to park in a lot on a bottom of a hill but i hoped maybe my landlord would be bright enough to get maintenance to salt the parking lot, especially mine, when snow is in the forecast.
Now I can't make it to work. =_=

You think he would maintain the lot since you are probably not the only one parking there.

But don't you carry a shovel and some rock salt in your trunk in the winter just in case you get trapped somewhere?

Probably safer if you can stay home anyway if it is snowing that much otherwise you might get stuck coming home after work.

If there's that much snow, probably won't have any customers anyway.

I don't have snow salt or a shovel. Most of my winter has been either just cold or warm.
This is the first snow and I don't watch the weather, like an idiot.

I just can't stand missing work because I need all the money I can.

oh, if you had parked somewhere else you could have made it to work? They clear the roads pretty good where you are then?

Maybe you can switch with someone and make up the day you missed.

darksky.net is the most accurate weather forecast site.

Idk how the actual road was. Couldn't make it that far. But if I just parked in the other lot, yeah, i would have made it.

Eh, it was my half day, not too awfully worried about it.

Ya, custoemrs probably were snowed in themselves...I'm glad it worked out for you. It probably would have been frustrating to have made the effort to go in only to have them tell you to go home.

I only live a mile away. So it's no big deal if i did. Sure, it's inconvenient, but at least it's not too wasteful on gas.

I suppose if you really needed to get there you could have walked or taken public transit.

Walking one way might be ok, but I think I'd dread the walk home after work in the snow... uphill both ways... Not everywhere has good public transit too.
