Oh yes, don't walk alone at night! Especially in bad weather!! Good you mentioned that Galled!

Here's something sad: a McDonald's employee gave birth in the bathroom on her shift and then tried to drown the baby. that is just so sad all around. Sad she felt so afraid she probably didn't tell anyone she was pregnant, sad she felt so helpless/hopeless that she felt she had to drown her baby, sad she didn't give him up for adoption and save her self jail time plus have a proavtrive part in placcing her baby in a home, sad that the baby will forever know his Mother didn't want him and tried to kill him...thankfully another employee's quick thinking saved the baby.

I'd walk if i had to go in. My shift starts before the bus begins it routes.
Or maybe ask if someone can pick me up.

I've walked a mile to work in the snow before, I wouldn't recommend it. Try to get a ride from a friend or co-worker if you can.

Well, that was the first snow of this winter.

Like from Nov. 2018 - now first snow....

Each year differs, though.

Does it seem like there is less time of snow then when you were a kid? Like now it mostly rains or is cloudy?

Definitely less snow nowadays than when I was a kid.

I remember snow storms bad enough to knock the power out, but nowadays, all it gets to is just being a little icy.

It's a good thing, but that's just a comparison of now vs 10+ years ago.

So a customer, a couple days ago, called me an asshole because the mccafe machine was broken.

I laughed and was like "okay. Sorry you feel that way."

I've been feeling better lately than I had been.
Idk what it was, it was around the time I watched and finished Bojack Horseman on Netflix. I still feel like it has something to do with it.
I mean, yesterday got pretty bad, but it was nowhere as bad as I used to be.

Soooooo I got a new job that I start at next Tuesday.
Gonna miss some of the people I work with. Prolly gonna cry. But I wont miss the actual work.

And I'll miss some of the regulars. I have a few favorite regulars in the drive through.

aww...but at least you can keep the contact/friendships you made. I hope the change will be less stressful for you. You seemed to be wanting to change jobs awhile ago so I am happy for you! How did you find out about the new place? What type of work is the new job?

You did that part time before didn't you? So you should know what the job entails. Nice you have a friend looking out for you and will know someone going in!
