I don't like the jittery all over the place camera shots either , Watery.

Sometimes the action is fun to just sit back and get a good laugh out of....but not all the killing shooting ones.

I like super hero movies and tv series, they're fun. Another complaint though is all the dark scenes, especially dark fighting scenes!

I used to really like super hero movies, but I've become kind of fatigued by it all. But once in a while they come up with something new and done well that I say I'll give 'em another chance. For example, DR. STRANGE was a nice surprise! Perhaps my expectations were low going in?...

Some of these have too much action (visual noise?) that I get lost. But deep down I'm a story person. The worst offense is action assault on the senses with a terrible or non-existent story. :(

Yeah I prefer movies with a good story.

I enjoyed Dr. Strange but I think it was over-hyped and that made me enjoy it a bit less.
I've been enjoying Netflix's super hero lineup more than super heroes movies. I'm watching Luke Cage now and it has a good balance of action and other elements.

on another note I can do dramatic pieces with little action if the story is intense.

If a movie is interesting I don't need to see a much action for me to like it.

I like my stories to have endings. The genre matters less to me. I just get really angry (perhaps too strong a word), when it seems like the filmmaker ran out of ideas or doesn't know the difference or maybe doesn't care about what an ending is.

It's so frustrating when a movie is really interesting but the ending falls flat.

I agree! So of course, in those cases, I figure out a way I would have made it better!

Letting the viewer decide is an ending if there are a trail of events that point to various things. I'm ok with movies that require you to observe and think.
