Yep! That's Philippine chicharon, basically deep fried pork rind, though it can refer to other deep-fried pork parts. Very crunchy - you could hear someone bite and chew the thing. Usually eaten with alcohol, though it' also used to garnish some soups. It doesn't stay crunchy once it gets soaked, though.
I don't think I can compare it to bacon - chicaron's much thicker and crunchier.
