hodge podge I can't get past the catgut!

Ok, a sad but sweet story: a stray cat found its way to my bosses house but her cats didn't like the new visitor and so she was going to try and find a new home for the poor old thing. The neighbors boy who has aspergers decided he loved the cat and took it home. The cat made him smile and his Mother had never seen him so interactive, it brought him out of his cocoon. They took the cat to the vet to get checked and the vet said the cat was old and had an inoperable tumor. Tears streamed every where from everyone when they found out but the boy decided he had to stay with the cat and pet it and loved it so that it wouldn't be alone when the vet put it to sleep. It made me tear up.
