I have a few friends that still wear theirs when they don't want to have to style their hair

There was a wig store at my hometown mall. I went in with my friends and we talked to the lady there and learned a lot about wigs and her shop. The wigs were pretty and not cheap. Mostly short styles. I remember how much the price goes went up with how the long the hair was.

I got it for free
But it's also made from synthetic hair, and what it's made of changes the price dramatically

quite a few people donate their hair for the wigs for cancer patients.

An older lady I knew had a friend who would make wigs for dolls out of real hair for people (at a cost of course). Kind of an interesting way to "keep" your hair.

Real hair would've been even more expensive
