I did not get very many of the mask so I think they will be more on the rare side.

Mdom- how do you like my disguise? <I'm a turkey>

Watery- I had a relaxing day actually, quite low key. Not all the family could be here so it was quiet.

I did sit bold upright in bed though thinking I had forgotten to turn my alarm for work on and it took a few minutes to register that I had the day off!

Today we get to eat leftovers, no figuring out dinner!

mdom: I hope you had fun at the beach with your family! Is the weather nice there then this time of year or is it pleasant all year?

Kit had a birthday and so I got into cosplay (as Kit's avatar).

It is way too hot for my liking all year xDDD but we got rain so my family wasn't too happy. We did have a couple days of sun... I am tanner, at least.

well, there's an old saying..."only mad dogs and Englishman go out in the mid-day sun"...the rest of us that have sun most of the year stay indoors where it's air conditioned.

I had sweet potatoes for lunch :9 I like Thanksgiving leftovers but last year we had too much. This year I was able to work it out with my mother and Eagle so we only kept the things we'd know we'd reheat.

ya, we are still eating the leftover side dishes ( didn't have any turkey left because we only cook the breast). I found a frozen cooked sweet potato that's in medallion sizes in the store - I imagine that would work for freezing your own too. Reheats in the microwave in minutes. There also is medallion size mashed potato's in the freezer section over here so I probably should have done that with my own leftovers. I tried mixing the two together and liked the taste of that!

Also saw a recipe for using left over stuffing by stirring some egg into it and cooking it on a waffle iron! Then adding a dallop of turkey and gravy on it. It looked appetizing.

Sounds interesting. I was able to eat up all the sweet potatoes that were made, still have the big can Eagle bought that didn't get used. But I love sweet potatoes so now problem with that. I'm going to have turkey, asparagus and maybe corn for dinner.

Still no sign of the new star background in the fishing pond OR the fairy freckles, for me... I keep wishing! :strain:
