Certainly not the best birthday I ever had, but far from the worst

Cake's gone, I finished it a couple of hours ago. Glad I only got the smallest size, almost too sweet for me

Ah, I just wasn't able to get on at all because of cooking for Thanksgiving and hanging out with the family.
I think it is one of the bad things about having birthdays on holidays. People may not be online to wish people happy birthdays.

Mine are always just meh as I get older.
I started off the day by stepping in cat poop >_<
Now I have no eggs here to make the cookies I was wanting too.
My husband is gonna sleep all day apparently, so I can't go to the store to get some.
I stuck some things I bought myself into a box and opened it myself.
Still not the worst birthday either though!

oh no dragoness! But I guess it might be a birthday you can laugh about? Is anyone coming by that can pick up eggs for you? Can you use an egg substitute at all? Like would applesauce or something work? Cream of tartar? have you tried the cookies without eggs before?

Oh, I think the space heater I ordered arrived today but since I went to bed at noon
And then woke up at four what the fuck
And then snoozed until six
Still tired
I have no idea if it actually arrived or not

Also, new roommate. Very different from previous one
Previous one was in run away mode and stayed for nearly a year. Plus a lot of stuff we had been warned about (borrowing money and never repaying, cleaning as move stuff aside or out of sight entirely) did happen. Mom figures there's about 1k she and dad will never get back cuz she moved out. For me, she never did cash, just whatever amount in foodstuff, but since I ate it, it worked out
New one? Literally between apartments, month and a half at most, depending on how much the tenants at what'll be her next apartment drag their feet. Nicely packed, way more stuff, and far more reliable

Never lend money. Have odd jobs they can do as "payment".

I took a short nap and the rain stopped and the sun came out - which is nice because am going out for dinner and I hate driving in the rain at night (regardless of who is driving)

But mail hadn't arrived when I went to bed and i haven't been downstairs yet to see if it did arrive

The only locks in the house are on the front door, the back door, and the bathroom

Parents were pretty sure they'd never see most to all of it again as it was. She did ask to borrow $200 from me but I was at RPCI when she called and the doctor arrived so i had a reason to hang up and never give her an answer
All good, she got $100 from me, but she was good at repaying me. She borrowed a grand total of i believe $2500 from mom and dad and only paid back ~1k before she left

Eh, she's gone now, since August, so whatever now
