well, maybe one day she will hopefully surprise them with a repayment.

I figure that if you do lend something you pretty well have to set in your mind that you may never see it so it is more like gifting it... unless you have written up a contract and then it is binding. But there is always requesting they "pay it forward". I had someone help me out once and when I went to repay them they said to keep it and help someone else out and that would be payment enough. (Although that was only about $50). But it wasn't so much the amount as someone was willing to help when I needed it and that feeling has stuck with me.

Doubtful. Apparently she stayed with someone else mom and dad knows and did essentially the same stuff with her, and that was years ago

Yeah, she paid back by getting food for me. Well, she and i went shopping together so I could get what I wanted

I had to put the spacer heater on at work because it turned cold (shock - California actually has cold) and I kept that sucker right near me until I warmed up toasty.

Are we talking snow on the ground cold (which is possible in the northern half) or it's 60° "cold" (like the southern half)?

we actually get down to a frost temperature - but today was just a damp cold because it rained so maybe I think someone said 43 degrees this morning?

well, I agree, your 80 degrees with humidity is a lot worse then our 80 degrees with dry heat.

Humidity does make it worse, but I've been in dry heat and still the same result
