Indeed, but he's been rude and jerkish from the start, and he himself mentioned the possibility of being fired "I don't care if I get fired for saying this" so I am going to at least try to get him fired

He should not be making it a hostile work environment . Does anyone else have issues with this supervisor? That might be worth bringing up if he does.

It is frustrating to work in a place where someone you work with makes it an unpleasant work space.

Keep hanging in there! Hopefully you don't have to be scheduled to work with the person who seems to have it in for you.

It's one of those things that doesn't make a lot of sense, but it's a truism at the same time--it only takes one idiot to change the whole experience for the whole group. I've been on crews where one person would change the spirits of everyone for the whole day. If that person didn't show up one day, that day would be a total joy for everyone. Everyone loved being there and their jobs, but this one person would make everyone miserable when they were there... You wouldn't think one person could have a such an effect, but it happens all of the time. It's understandable when it's the boss/head of the company (serious considerations of bailing in those cases), but when it's a co-worker (middle management is the worst), it doesn't make a lot of sense yet it happens over and over. Toxicity has super power...

hmmm that is good advice, a reminder to be that person that uplifts the group, who makes the work place enjoyable to be at. Br positive, be encouraging, be helpful.
I am going to work on that more.

Ya, it is difficult to do your best when you are on edge, stressing over how someone is going to react.
I am not one who can brush things off easily but I know how to be polite and that can be a good fall back to get through a situation.

It's certainly true that a positive person can offset the dark side somewhat, but the dark shadow tends to still leave everyone in a cloud. What gets me is how these types don't see it. Sure the broken ones do and don't care ("misery loves company" truism), and the other broken ones are missing the hardware to truly empathize.

The "manage" thing is the only solution. The funniest thing is I've never met anyone from HR that has these skills... so one has to "manage" HR!

I saw your post of your store flooding, does that mean you are out of work for now or do you have to go in to help clean up?

Twas gone by the time I got there. I arrived and saw the back area floor in receiving and all (which is made of stone or concrete or something) was damp, and thought to myself; why is it damp? The cleaner shouldn't have used their machine here yet.
But then a bit later I talked to my manager (the good one) about the storm and he said the store had flooded! So I was all "ah, THAT'S why the floor was damp!"
I think it flooded around 3pm so people were working

We managed to not have anything happen to our house! But ty for the concern!
My therapist's car flooded tho



Anyway I was able to transfer over many mons from DS to Switch 2 using Pokemon Bank and Pokemon Home! I couldn't find my shiny Spinda (the first full odds shiny I ever caught) but I DID manage to find the Lugia I caught with a Luxury Ball (the first ball I used on it) which was named Luxuria in honor of the catch. I also didn't find the Zeraora but considering it was hacked in its probably best not to transfer it (I only had it hacked in because at the time it was the only way I could get a Zeraora and Zeraora was my favorite Pokemon)

If they could clean it up that quickly it must not have flooded too badly then, which is good. Flooding can be costly.

We are still having hot & humid weather ... waiting for some rain but doesn't look like we will get it now.

I am glad all those hours you put into your games & pokemon searches didn't get lost.
My brother & his wife started playing Pokemon Go again, their way to get themselves out of the house.

My Fan VSMP session was great! I managed to kinda get a scene one that I wanted to get done, I also got turned into a vampire right after, then got to witness my sire leave past the barrier, then immediately after won a fight with another character who attacked my character's friend out of nowhere! Later a funny thing happened where I was being threatened and I put on a skeleton skull and the guy was like "excuse me!?" So I quickly said "wrong thing" and took out a blood bottle to drink! (It wasn't actually the wrong thing, I just thought it'd be funny to put it on at that point, but when I realized he was going to kill me for it I pivoted and pretended it was accidental)! It was quite an eventful session!


The shift at work went well, too!
And now I work 4 more nights, off 2, in at least 1

Last night's shift wasn't as good. I didn't get the initial assignment done and even stayed late to finish the modified version, but at least the supervisor didn't seem mad

This previous shift I did manage to finish, but I needed a little help at the end





I decided to make a new playlist of music on my phone. Usually I use folders, but I decided to take songs from some folders and put it into a separate playlist. The theme is "vampires" so songs about vampires, songs that give vampire vibes, songs I discovered through vampire related things, and songs I've imagined fitting characters, scenes, and storylines to do with vampires!
I'm considering what to make playlists for next!



Also! It seems next minecraft role play session will be the finale of the series I'm in!
