Jazz has claim on dad, but appreciates attention from anyone
Big Guy shuffles through depending on who he's being passive aggressive against, and in winter, where it's warm
Corbin is technically my brother's but he's kind of just here
Doink and Rufus are my two

Mom actually knows her from work, so it's not "old school friend reappears"
She's literally between apartments, she's waiting for the tenants of the one she's getting to move out
She also is out of leave cuz she got hurt pretty bad and has to spend a lot of time with a knee brace
Takes her about five minutes to go up or down the stairs

I have a Mop and a turd
Here's Mop/Dino (pronounced dee-no)

Tho he's currently wearing Doink's old harness cuz roommate's dog keeps chasing the cats and the dingleball on Mop's collar notifies the dog

I couldn't remember what roommate named the kitten (her kitten, yes), so I started calling him Mop. Funny part is how mom also calls him Mop

sigh, it's a cat's life to creep up quietly or just to veg out.

Hmm seems to me you put the bell on the collar to warn the critters the cat is coming?

Normally yeah but when you get a dog that sees the cats as squeak toys or prey, well, bell is bad
Dog chased Rufus, Rufus went to the kitchen and managed to make a major mess trying to jump away from the dog cuz there was a cast iron pan half full of oil on the stove that he managed to knock about. Looked like he had pissed himself, really bad
He ended up hiding in the back of the hall where the dog can't get to and burying himself underneath all the crap. Had to haul off the dog and the i had to clamber over the stuff to unbury him and carry him to me room
Ever since that dog showed up, Rufus showed a great love of burrowing
And then earlier today Mop was cornered in the kitchen by the dog

We might have to get dad to take that down so the cats have a chance of escape. It was initially put up cuz Trouble used it to escape when she caused trouble so that we could catch her
It's one of the sides of a cradle

OH NO!! Lock that dog in the bedroom or garage or laundry/mud room until he behaves himself! Poor Kitties!! <although mops looks pretty chill just hanging there> but ya, the bell has to go for now - or put a bell on the dog?

Dog's a blue tick hound, but Corn and she have gone nose to nose and Corbin bapped her nose a few times so she's learning
Mop, on the other hand, just let off a massive fart holy shit and doesn't really like the dog so much
Holy shit it reeks in here now good thing I have three candles in my room

make sure they don't get scared and knock down your candles! ( or that the candle flame doesn't ignite the gas)

They're not lit, the scent would be way too strong then

there are some cool battery powered candles with a nice scent - have you seen those?

google them and check them out. They give out a warm glow and a nice light scent. In fact over here battery operated candles are becoming quite prevelant
