And my brother introduced mom to this book collection app and she showed it to me. Great for us ovo
You can scan barcodes for the book, or if that is troublesome, the ISPN number or whatever it is
Works for manga too, I tried it with my Azumanga Daioh omnibus and it just barely had to read the barcode and it immediately knew the book

I wonder if different covers have different numbers/codes, so I can list duplicates too, so the ones where I want every cover of, I can keep track of
So many books tho...
Uploading books to it uses internet, but once it's on there you don't need to be online to heck the list

Dog's a blue tick hound, high energy breed generally used for hunting
So that plus puppy energy (since it generally takes a few years to wear that out) makes for a very hyper pupper
The cats do not like her, but Corbin's smacked her a few times

You can scan the barcode (apparently some devices require a scanner app to be downloaded. Mom's phone did, mine did not), input the ISBN, search the internet, and input manually
About 80% of my books I scanned. 15% I had to put in the ISBN (most of those have damage to the barcode, they're so old, a few had stickers over said barcode), and 5% I had to search the internet. One was a particular pain cuz it had no barcode whatsoever (neither one on the outside cover nor one inside the front cover), no ISBN anywhere, and I had to guess the author just just the book title made it assume a different book entirely
If you have, say, three of the same book with all different covers, sometimes it's a different ISBN, other times it warns you that you're about to input a duplicate
Personally, I don't mind duplicate entries cuz different covers, since each one shows only one cover. There is a way to nab a different cover in their database but it requires some special account or other

Some books have hanged names, and it mentions them as well. Like the Garfield's Halloween Adventure book I have used to be Garfield in Disguise
If you have one where it lists the former title, sometimes you need to use that one instead cuz it doesn't recognize that there was a title update

Oh, and it recognizes books from a series
Like The Dark Hills Divide is the first in The Land of Elyon
It puts them in order so if I got a different book from the same author, it doesn't split them up
And you might have to rotate the book image on occasion

I showed mine to my brother. I was going to show my parents too but they got hard up hard while making the last payment for their house. One fee after another all piled up. So I don't know what to really ask of them.
