I gotta get started on sketching my pond and the waterfall.

Back from the dentist's office. For not seeing a dentist in a really long time my teeth are in pretty good shape. Only two cavities! I thought I'd have a bunch. Will have to get two crowns from my chipped front teeth and get two of my wisdom teeth pulled but that can be put off until I can afford it.

I already know my teeth are bad. I'll just wait till I get older and get dentures.

oh no! Take care of the teeth now! Dentures are terrible! Your bone just keeps resorbing until there is nothing left to hold onto and then the dentures don't stay in your mouth! (Although with today's technology I suppose you can go for implants - just super expensive)

I hope one day you can afford the dental work - maybe a job will come along that will include dental coverage. Or..universities are always looking for patients for their dental and hygiene students and there is an instructor watching what they do and grading them so you know they will do their best work. I knew of someone who got their crowns etc done that way. I think they just paid for the cost of the materials.

Just came by to relax by the pond.

Yeah. I think I need to get that enamel enhancing toothpaste. I have always had weak enamel. If I eat sweets now, I can feel my teeth hurting. I know I don't need the junk food, but it is so good.

Relaxing is nice. ^_^

I'm only seeing a dentist now because I can get insurance through medicaid.
My plan is $20 a month which my boyfriend pays for since I'm unemployed.

I hope you can get to a dentist before your teeth get too bad. Do you use toothpaste for sensitive teeth? Mine still bother me sometimes but the toothpaste helps a lot.

sour foods will go through the dentin tubules in your teeth and make your teeth "hurt" ...acidic foods weaken your teeth and make them more sensitive too. Rinse your mouth after sour and acidic and DO NOT brush for about 30 minutes after eating them because they "soften" your teeth.
Watery has a good idea - but not only brush your teeth with a sensitive toothpaste but before you go to bed rub it onto your teeth an leave it on overnight. (not gobs of it). Do it for about a week (the fluoride in it builds up like a shield on your teeth) and then go back to a nonabrasive toothpaste and occasionally go back to using the sensitive toothpaste. keep away from abrasive toothpaste (you will know because it will feel kind of gritty). A fluoride mouth rinse after you brush helps too.

I have so many calls I have to make. Doctor appointments and have to call my insurance to replace my card.
-_-
Good thing is I should be correcting my sleep cycle tonight. Woke up at 5AM because I was afraid if I tried to get up any later I'd overslept and miss today's appointment. Was somehow able to stay awake to this point.

I had been trying to go to bed early to get up when I needed to but that didn't work. So I instead stayed up on appointment day (#1) and went to bed after I got home.

Thanks, good luck with your appointments.

Thanks I slept well but got up later than I planned.
Bad news with setting up an appointment with a rheumatologist. The one I was refered to couldn't see me and neither could another rheum. I really need to be seen but it's so hard finding a specialist when I only have medicaid.
