The Gundam Barbatos is my favourite Gundam of all time.

I just recently went to an Anime Festival. I cosplayed with my friends

As you can imagine my room is filled with them. There's quite a few in glass cabinets too

Yeah a life sized RX-78 but it's being taken down and replaced with a Unicorn Gundam because they're re-doing the place and making improvments. It's in Odaiba

I was Maki Nishikino and my other two friends were Kotori Minami and Nozomi Toujou

It's actually pretty good.
I only started watching it because a group of my friends started learning a dance from the Anime and they asked me if i wanted to be Maki.
It was destiny because i had a figure of Maki from when i went to Japan and i bought it because she was cute, i didn't know what anime she was from.
I'd love to cosplay as Miku but the LoveLive! cosplay was muuuch cheaper and easier

My other friend and her sister cosplayed as Liz and Patty from Soul Eater. They made their cosplay themselves. So cute.

It's not that bad really XD well i mean i sat on a train for 20 minutes wearing a bright red wig while sitting next to a girl with purple pigtails and another girl with some kind of brownish blond hair.
It was really fun and once we got to the convention we felt like we belonged there.
I could point and fangirl as much as i wanted and no one cared XD

And then I get super embarrassed and shy and want to like, run off and hide.

Suddenly being surrounded by people that i'm confident with boosts my self esteem

I think the cities where anime conventions are regularly held get used to seeing costumed people. And if you are with a group who are cosplaying I don't think you would feel so self conscious, kyndreth.
