Dear Ka Lai,

My dream would be able to have enough money so that I only had to work when I feel like it and to be able to afford to volunteer if I wanted. There are jobs I would like to try but not make a career at. I probably would be pretty good in the hospitality realm but those jobs don't pay very much. I'd like those vacations where you go to another country and do some volunteering, I've done that before and it was an eye opener to how the people really live.
I am glad you won't forget us, I understand about busy seasons at work. I hope you can increase your credits/experiences so you can get a better paying job. I always assumed accountant s did taxes and was busy Jan thru Dec. I suppose it depends on what kind of accounting you do?
Have you always been good with numbers?

Umm no, I'm going on a bus. I have a heart problem so that prevents me from getting on planes.
It's great but it sucks because it means I probably won't ever be able to go to Greece.
I probably won't be able to travel, period.

As for the weather, it's alright. I'm not a fan of heat but thankfully I have the AC on at times throughout the day. The highest has been 104 today. Right now though it's currently 92. So it's pretty warm out. A little windy too which is nice.

That's still pretty cool! I've been wanting to learn Italian. It's pretty similar to Spanish so I don't think it should be too hard. I was learning some words and phrases last year but I stopped practicing. OTL

Happy Cinco de Mayo!
I am sorry you have such a debilitating heart condition that you cannot fly - is the concern from decompression? Is it something that could be repaired with surgery? Maybe you could take a cruise to Greece one day though!

It is hot inland (probably from you being so hot) so our weather has the marine inversion and is staying cooler the last couple days. It burns off and gets sunny but doesn't get hot. We are supposed to have a chance of rain on Sunday! I don't do well in temps past 90F. Glad you have AC.

Are there any places in Sacramento that you like to go eat at or shop when you visit?

I would have immense trouble breathing in a plane from the height we'd be at.
Sadly a surgery will not fix it since my condition is permanent. Hmm... maybe someday. Although ships tend to make me nervous.
(Well traveling in general does lol)

Oh I see, that sounds really nice actually. I wish it would rain here. It looks like it might rain here any day now though since it's cloudy outside today and windy.

Hmm, nope. But we have family there, so they'll be showing us around and stuff.

Dear Lemon,

I think I'd just love to be well off generally. I'd love to be free from financial burdens. I don't really know what I want to do in life though.

I'm a financial auditor, which means that I'll be busy from July to about September. Most companies in Australia have a 30 June year end, so we'll be super busy. We're also very busy between January and March because we also have 31 December year ends. Anyway, I'll probably vanish very suddenly.
