We do have snakes here (Duh it's Australia) (Which you guys think is so dangerous ;^; )

But I don't ever think I've seen one in a garden
In fact I've never seen a snake out in the wild here. I've seen countless in Zoo's but the only time I saw a wild one was when I was on a mountain in Italy. It was tiny and probably the length of my hand
My cousin does have a pet snake though

In California our snakes are about 3 feet or so, long slithering ones that aren't very dangerous unless you come across a rattle snake and in that case, stay clear. (I just try to stay clear regardless. I don't do well with snakes)

I don't really mind holding them or having them around my neck. The non dangerous ones of course

I've also seen them only at a zoo... OH I think one entered a place I lived once, but I was close to the nature. I'm pretty far from the dangerous anacondas xD
