you have to poke those potatoes a few times so they don't burst. They are a mess to clean up.

Except for dishes. Dad does dishes cuz mom and I have this tendency to make them even worse than before

I hear other people say that...maybe I should try saying that once in awhile and I might not have to clean up so often. General rule we follow is, someone cooks the others that didn't help cook cleanup but if you have a resourceful and efficient cook they clean up as they go so there isn't so much left to do at the end.

I just cook, dealing with pans and stuff as I cook, then I eat, wash my dish, and that's it. I just feed me though.
