yes, very tragic when the cancer spreads to another area of the body.

Mastitis is not fun either but at least that is cureable.

Indeed, much less tragic.

My dad had prostate cancer, but it didn't spread.

That is fortunate, mdom!

I have an older friend who had prostrate cancer and decided not to do treatment and it spread to his bones and he just died last month.

Yeah it's always a coin toss whether the treatment is worth it or not.

I met someone today who just opened a business where she has hyperbaric chambers, which sounded very interesting.

"Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a well-established treatment for decompression sickness, a hazard of scuba diving. Other conditions treated with hyperbaric oxygen therapy include serious infections, bubbles of air in your blood vessels, and wounds that won't heal as a result of diabetes or radiation injury."

I guess it is getting more prevalent and some places have rooms instead of tanks to sit in. I would be claustrophobic in the tank.

Sooooooooooo St Patrick's day event is starting early! I am so excited!

I have no idea what any of that means. O.O

Yay! I like to think I'm good at riddles, so if I do poorly, I'll be very disappointed. ^^

I'm more interested int he treatments that are successful, but not everything works for everyone unfortunately each body is different.

*nods* Like things that have been proven to be successful.

It's crazy how similar we are yet our body reacts to things so differently.
