Yes my dad was going to put him down. He is blind in both eyes now and my dad was worried about how he would function.

I know a few cats who are blind
but they function fine and make do with their other senses. They tend to grow a sixth sense.

Yeah sadly he grew blind recently in the last year and he is older so some of his senses are already dwindling.
