Okay then

Go

THERE IS NO ROOM
My bedroom is a few inches shy of 120ft²
The one bookshelf is covering the sole window in the room
The outlet by the desk is two prongs
The one behind the cedar chest is three, and has one of them six outlet thingies installed to make it a bit more usable
They're the only two in the entire room
And if you can't tell, the second floor is only a half floor so two walls go up five feet before angling for the roof the rest of the way
Rearrange? Yeah let me lose access to one or both outlets, good idea...not
Plus the one bookshelf is actually attached to the wall

I live in a house that was originally a schoolhouse and is over a century old
Standard suggestions don't work

oh jesus it actually looks big though. ' ___ ' )
its... the size of the master bathroom in our house //OTL

there are still methods! ie) moving the desk elsewhere and putting a small chest of drawers, then use an extendor to make the outlet reachable and have more prongs to shove stuff in.

underneath the bed. there is space.
there is always space.
shelves.... you also look like you have a built in closet thingy full of smaller containers.. you could always use that?? XD

i just estimated the size of my brothers room tho (the one i use as a play room.. ha...Hahaha) Its like 19sqm....
no wonder we can fit so much crap in here @_@

It just looks big cuz there's a lot of shit in it and I was as close to the corner as possible for these shots

And again, the outlet by the desk is two prongs. More and more stuff these days are coming with three

The bed sits on the floor
The desk went there cuz it's the only place in the house where it fits
Those stupid wire things can't take much more before the closet friggin explodes. I really need to get rid of shirts and other clothes, which is what those boxes are full of
And the closet, what you see is what there is. There is a wall and on the other side of that's mom's half, plus attic access

Geez, 205 square feet for one room
The first floor of the house is about 1.1k square feet? Basically, the size of a master bedroom
And the entire house is messy

Fun fact: when we moved in, I was about one and the wiring behind the walls was still knob and tube. Which is very much out of date
It's updated now, but the outlets pretty much all suck

Oh, and i can't lift the bed cuz it's queen size (I think, to it's been a few years), and loft stuff that size is batshit expensive and we don't have that kind of money
Plus that whole 1.5 story thing makes lofting about impossible. If I had even a regular thing for the bed, I'd hit the ceiling regularly

there are probably a few things you could do - I ve seen people put shelves that hang from the ceiling and bookcases inset into the wall and the box the bed rests on have drawers in it.

Inset would mean punching through a wall
Bed sits right on the floor. No box
No ceiling shelves, I'd hit my head
Plus the joists are anywhere from sixteen inches to 22 inches from each other
The house pretty much needs to be rebuilt to be up to code

It looks like you have way more room in height, maybe its the picture. Kind of reminds me of a book I read where the main character had a bed in the attic... oh, the little princess! the rich guy next door fixes up her room and it is so adorable...just think of the history you are surrounded with when you sleep every night. I like the purple.

It's the pictures
Two of the walls become roofline at five feet
That kills a lot of space

bed isn't on the hang side--- get a frame to prop it up and use the underneath as storage space.

for starters, just fold your clothes jeez....
i can only hope you are more organized if you ever move or renovate the place ^^;

yes, houses where i am are actually very spacious. your bedroom is the size of our master bathroom, and.. honestly our house isn't considered big ^^;

I really suggest CLEANING and making a list of everything you own. sort them into temporary boxes, piles, then toss or sell things you don't need.
unnecessary clutter takes up a lot of space.

clothes you don't need can be donated, as well. or just burn them--- jk.

more suggestions. Swapping furniture for chests/shelves that are much more space efficient can help as well.

But anyway, I admit defeat. Your place is pretty freakin tiny. But that's still no reason to be messy.

You gonna pay for the frame?
1. Small house
2. I'm surprised we can (barely) afford smartphones and internet, much less anything else on some days
3. Time. Mom has three jobs, dad has two, and I have no license so I can't legally drive anywhere, which would end up stranding someone anyway, and the parents have priority

Mom's bedroom is book, yarn, and clothes
She also had to buy a suitcase for the yarn she got at her Europe trip. She tries to organize on occasion. Then she gets more yarn and back to square one

I think we need to see a photo of Murmurlade's organized room

I like to store stuff but don't have the room so I use the white storage boxes you can get at Walmart to store my craft stuff in because you can stack the 3 chest sizes on top of each other and some fit under a table or counter to minimize space. But if your place is that small don't know if it would work. I would never get an "A" for organization so that's not my expertise. But I can condense a lot in a small space.
