I don't know if I will ever understand kanji. You even have to write it in a certain order too or it could mean something else.

Kanji is difficult to learn. Have you tried finding how to Mangas? There are a few out there that teach Japanese.

One of our clients gave me a burnt disc of Roseeta stone for Chinese... But I have never used it... I'm more zoned for Japanese.

You should try it out once just for fun Mika that way if they ask if you used it you can at least say Yes in Chinese. Make them a bit happy you know.
