I generally stick to looking at local news, international news can be so depressing. On the other hand, int'l news makes me more appreciative of living where I do and more content to just see countries from photographs rather then going there to visit.

and there doesn't seem to be objective reporting anymore. I glance at the headlines and read if it looks interesting and even then I have to try to research it to see if it is true or bias. I like to stick to the historical finds or research discovery articles.

I've been seeing a lot about Trump, shootings, and disasters. So, nothing good. And I'm only glancing at a newsfeed when opening a new tab on Internet Explorer, or whatever it is.
