I think it's understood that the earth warms and cools itself in cycles and we have no control over it. I think the idea is we are accelerating the current warming cycle. But unless the whole world agrees, we'll just be bailing water when our neighbors keep the taps wide open.

Like in a neighborhood where some homes are kept pristine and taken care of and others are like a trash dump with old cars and stuff piled in the yard and if those old containers of paint etc catches fire the whole neighborhood could burn. If everyone does their part there is a greater chance to maintain the environment and survive.

Cremuex : no worries, I have no problem with chatting in most of my game threads if it is short but it takes time to scroll through to see if I need to attend to anything in the charity.

There are to hangout threads that I chat in, both of 'em are pirate themed, and monkey magic thread, but I can always expand and post in more places. I didn't know the hangout threads got more feathers than posting elsewhere, I always thought the amount of feathers you got was based on how much you type.
